Home/Services/Building Automation

A building automation system that runs the building the way it was designed to run.

Most buildings we walk into either have no BAS, a pneumatic system nobody can tune, or a modern system nobody is reading. We design it, install it, program it and then prove the savings at the utility meter.

What we do

Building Automation, engineered and installed by EverWatt

Pneumatic-to-DDC conversions

We replace air-driven controls with direct digital control, device by device, so the building runs off sensors and schedules instead of guesswork.

New BAS where none exists

Server, operator workstation, unit controllers, sensors and current transducers, plus a network to your IT team for remote access.

Sequences of operation

We write the sequences for your building from logged data, then program and commission them ourselves.

Trending, alarms and fault detection

Points trended and alarms set so problems surface in the software before they surface as complaints.

Retro-commissioning

For buildings with a good system that has drifted: we find what's overridden, fighting itself or running 24/7, and fix it.

Vendor-agnostic, BACnet-native

We work across control platforms, so you're not locked into one manufacturer for the life of the building.

How it works

One contact from the first site walk to verified savings.

1

Log

Weeks of trend data and equipment logging before we design anything.

2

Design

Points list, sequences and a savings model the utility will review.

3

Install & program

Our crews install; our engineers program and commission.

4

Verify

Savings measured at the utility meter, not assumed.

Questions

What owners usually ask

Can you work with our existing controls vendor's system?

Yes. We're vendor-agnostic and BACnet-native. Where the existing system is sound, we integrate with it; where it isn't, we tell you why and what replacing it costs.

How do you prove the savings?

On most projects, with meter-based measurement: a model fitted to twelve months of pre-installation interval data, then monthly weather-normalized reporting after install.

Can this be financed?

Often, yes. Controls upgrades regularly qualify for utility incentives and PG&E On-Bill Financing. We identify and file those as part of the project.

Tell us about the building.

An engineer will call within one business day, usually to set up a site visit. No cost, no obligation.
