A freight terminal runs around the clock. YRC's Hayward dock was lit by high-pressure sodium fixtures: the dim orange light that makes labels hard to read and forklift aisles hard to see, and burns a lot of power doing it.
The terminal needed better visibility for crews and equipment, and lighting that didn't drive up the electric bill 24 hours a day.
